Workplace ready graduates – how employers can benefit
Australian employers want and need graduates with some experience in the workplace. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) provides a range of approaches that integrate theory with the practice of work. The most common form of WIL involves a student placement or project within a workplace.
Since 2009, Business SA (through our membership of the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been collaborating with Flinders University through Innovative Research Universities (IRU). The project is designed to develop a framework for WIL, which assists businesses and universities to engage efficiently and productively in the provision of WIL.
