Business SA 2013 Export Awards
The Business SA 2013 Export Awards celebrate exporting excellence in South Australia, recognising companies for their innovation and success in industry and export. In its 21st year, Business SA continues to honour and celebrate the achievements of South Australian businesses operating internationally.
The Business SA 2013 Export Awards are part of a national program, bringing recognition and distinction to outstanding businesses.
If you are a South Australian business currently exporting, no matter how big or small, new or experienced, you are strongly encouraged to apply.
The 2013 award categories have been revitalised to capture a much broader entrant base. The Business SA 2013 Export Awards will include the following categories:
Agribusiness
For outstanding international success in the field of agricultural products, services or technology including processed foods and beverages and the forestry, fisheries and fibres industries.
Business Services
For outstanding international success in professional business services including legal, accounting, administration and support services, business management, marketing services, franchising and licensing, finance and insurance, market research and translation services
Creative Industries
For outstanding international success across all creative industries including advertising, art, craft, design, fashion, film, music, performing arts, photography, publishing, software, games, TV, radio and video games.
Education and Training
For outstanding innovation and international success in the field of education and training services, expertise and curriculum including vocational training.
Environmental Solutions
For outstanding success in environmental solutions, clean energy innovation, materials and energy efficiency, waste and water management, green buildings and R&D collaboration.
Health and Biotechnology
For outstanding success in medical, healthcare and biotechnology fields including both services and products.
Infrastructure and Construction
For outstanding contribution by an Australian company to an international project involving architecture, engineering, infrastructure and construction services and products.
Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
For outstanding international success in the field of information and communication products, technology or services that are concerned with the storage, retrieval, manipulation, transmission or receipt of digital data including software and games development.
Manufacturing
For outstanding international success by a manufacturer.
Minerals and Energy (including related services)
For outstanding international success in the production or primary processing of extractive and value-added minerals or energy products, technology, equipment and services to the minerals and energy industries.
Regional Exporter
For outstanding international success by a business whose head office is based in a non-metropolitan location.
Small Business
For outstanding international success by any business with total annual sales not exceeding $5 million.
Winners of the Business SA 2013 Export Awards will be formally announced on Friday 11 October at a luncheon to be held at the National Wine Centre of Australia.
All winners automatically become finalists in the 51st Australian Export Awards.
