The Australian Government has always placed a high priority on employment visas to address skills shortages in various areas, offering both permanent and temporary visa options, with the underlying principle of not disadvantaging the Australian workforce.
Permanent employment visas include:

- Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS)
Temporary employment visas include:
- Business (Long Stay) visa – subclass 457, and

Business Migration
Business SA’s Migration and Visa Services provide professional and culturally sensitive visa and business services to assist foreign business people to migrate to and settle in South Australia.
The Business Skilled visa program aims to attract skilled and experienced entrepreneurs and investors with the capital and desire to migrate to Australia for the purposes of setting up a business or entering into investment.
This program is largely a two-stage process whereby migrants enter Australia initially on a provisional visa, generally valid for a period of four (4) years. Once a provisional visa holder is able to demonstrate satisfactory evidence of a specific level of business or investment activity, they may apply for permanent residence. The Business Talent (subclass 132) visa which is suited for high calibre of business people is the only visa in the program that has a direct path to permanent residency.
Skilled Migration
The Australia Government places a high priority on skilled migration and implements a responsive migration framework and visa systems to meet the needs of Australia’s current, emerging and future workforce. As a result of this objective, Australian migration programs are constantly changing.

Migration Profession
Business SA’s Migration Consultants (MARN 1276260) are registered to practice under the Migration Act 1958 and the Migration Agents Registration 1998.
In Australia, migration agents must be registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA). Registered Migration Agents are bound by a Code of Conduct and are required to have an in-depth knowledge of Australian migration law and procedure and meet high professional and ethical standards.
