1. What is SAYES and how can it help me?

SAYES will provide you with:
  • Business training
  • An experienced mentor to guide you
  • The opportunity to meet like minded young entrepreneurs
  • Networking opportunities
  • Access to SAYES HQ our member only site giving you access to leading Adelaide business people.
 
SAYES provides a series of workshops over the course of a year (one per month – evenings only) for participants to help build their business skills. Each workshop is presented by an expert in their field. Current topics of our workshop program include; Business direction and strategic management; Marketing and Business planning.
 
A key component of the SAYES program is matching each participant with an experienced business mentor. These skilled business people volunteer their time to provide guidance through their own extensive business and professional expertise.
 

2. Am I eligible for SAYES?

  • Australian Citizen and South Australian resident
  • Aged 18-35 years at the time of applications closing
  • Are the owner of a business or business idea and are in the start-up and early stages of operations
  • Pay and administration fee of $660 including GST per person (Only if accepted into the program)
  • Be ready to get your business off the ground
 
*Please note that our definition of an entrepreneur is; A person who owns, organises, operates, and assumes the risk for a business venture.
 

3. How much will it cost me?

If you are successful in gaining a place on the program it will cost you $660 inc GST, the remainder of the cost will be covered by our sponsors.  There is no fee to apply.
 

4. When & how do I apply?

Applications are taken around June each year. You can apply here or join our waiting list to be notified when applications open.
 

5. Are business loans or grants available?

Loans are only available to current SAYES program participants who have completed the SAYES program.
 
SAYES does not provide business grants to its participants. However, other funding opportunities may be available from government agencies, corporate bodies and non-government organisations. http://www.southaustralia.biz/Funding-Grants.aspx
