Business SA

State Theatre Company of South Australia and Business SA are pleased to the offer the opportunity for two lucky readers to win a double pass to see Entertaining Mr Sloane, starring beloved Australian actress Jacki Weaver, on Friday 2 July at 8pm in the Dunstan Playhouse, Adelaide Festival Centre.

Subversively slipping this Oedipal sex-farce past the ever-watchful eye of the British censor in 1964, playwright Joe Orton raised innuendo to new and thrilling heights. Almost fifty years later, the funny and sexy Entertaining Mr. Sloane continues to be revived all around the world.

Written on the cusp of the sexual revolution, Entertaining Mr Sloane is a gloriously witty romp full of sly sexiness and racy naughtiness.

The cast also includes well-known veteran performer Dennis Olsen (currently performing in State Theatre Company’s The Price until 16 May) and Renato Fabretti, better known as Chopper Read in the television series Underbelly.

“…a truly amoral piece, wild, witty and utterly heartless… wonderfully, mercilessly funny.” The Telegraph
