This month recognises the achievements of Sector Communications, who recently were awarded bronze level accreditation:

Sector Communications is an innovative design studio dedicated to creating outstanding visual solutions and services that consistently meet customer requirements and specifications.

Through assistance from Business SA, the organisation was able to develop an integrated Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management System following the principles of ISO 9001, AS/NZ 4801, and ISO14001.

Nic Eldridge, Company / Creative Director of Sector Communications explains:

“In one sense, becoming a "green" business was easy for us because we already operated under common sense principles of minimising waste across all areas of our business.”

“However, having a defined and detailed Health, Safety & Environmental Management Plan has given our studio a real boost when pitching for new work or introducing ourselves to new clients. It is very much a 'feather in the cap' for our business.”

“We chose the BSA accreditation scheme because of its ability to link in with the international standard and the simplicity of the process involved”.  

“It will stop our submissions being marked "non-compliant when we pitch for government work, which will go a long way to getting our proposals up to the top of the pile for greater consideration.”
