Networking 2010

Networking was the subject of choice for guests at the latest networking event at The University of Adelaide.

The University of Adelaide was host for our October networking event which took place in the brand new Innova 21 Building – home of the Engineering, Mathematical and Computer Sciences.

It was another successful event as guests enjoyed the fine food and wine in a great networking atmosphere.

The Vice-President of Services & Resources at the University, Paul Duldig, addressed the audience on the design and functionalities of the new building, as well as its achievement as being the first six star Green rating for an educational building in the state.

Rodney Wade from Finsbury Green spoke about the importance of environmentally friendly printing and the role Finsbury is continuing to play in the printing world in South Australia.

There was also a range of fabulous door prizes given away including –

- a bottle of Rockford Basket Press Shiraz as well as a voucher from Unibooks

- a One planet wine pack

- 2 tickets to the Heart of Flamenco courtesy of the Adelaide Festival Centre and the Adelaide + International Guitar Festival

- 2 double passes to a performance of ‘The Give and Take’ on Tuesday 9 November from the State Theatre Company

- a voucher valued to $100 from La Tombola Restaurant

- 20 x $10 vouchers from Sumo Salad

Business SA would like to thank the staff at The University of Adelaide for hosting a very successful event.

The next networking event is at the Glenelg Golf Club on Tuesday 7 December, find out more details here. A wrap-up of the November networking event will be provided in the December xpress.
