Join a Policy Reference Group and have your say

With your help, we successfully lobbied the State Government for a further decrease in the payroll tax rate and an increase in the tax free threshold.

There is an increasing range of matters to which we need to respond on your behalf.  So that we know which issues are important to you, we have formed a number of 'virtual' Policy Reference Groups (PRG) based on six key topics:

• Industry specific (topics of direct relevance to your industry sector)
• Environmental sustainability
• OH&S/ Injury management
• Industrial relations
• Workforce development
• Small business

The aim of the ‘virtual’ concept is not to burden you with the need to attend set meetings. Rather, as issues arise or submissions are called, we will forward an email to members of the relevant PRG for their feedback.  Where appropriate, other communication methods may be used such as telephone conversations, focus group participation and attending sub-committee meetings.

We would urge you to continue your support and contribution. Email us with your nomination for the group(s) in which you are interested.
