Could your business benefit from a PhD research student intern?

Could your business benefit from a science, technology, engineering or maths PhD research student intern? South Australia’s three major universities have identified talented PhD students and is making them available for internships of up to five months on industry-led projects.

Australian Postgraduate Research Intern is a national not-for-profit program to assist businesses to achieve their potential by having PhD research students with high level frontier skills solve challenges or explore opportunities to optimise business processes, develop products or enhance marketing strategies. APR Intern manages all aspects of the internship process, including intellectual property considerations.

APR Intern Business Development Manager David Beecham works with the University of Adelaide, Flinders University and the University of South Australia to identify talented PhD students to undertake three-to-five month internships on industry-led projects, which is heavily subsidised with a 50 per cent Federal Government rebate.

David has already placed interns in South Australia and is looking to create further industry connections. For more information regarding this unique opportunity, please visit www.aprintern.org.au or contact David directly on d.beecham@aprintern.org.au or (08) 8121 5779 or 0490 124 347.
