Riverland Rolls Up For Business Boost

Riverland businesses have been eager to take advantage of a unique suite of services, specifically tailored to help them grow and thrive. The services are being offered as part of a partnership between the South Australian Business Chamber and the Renmark Paringa Network to assist local businesses to succeed in 2022 and beyond.

Renmark Paringa Network Chair Clint Lewan says that the RiverlandStrength and Success Summit was possible due to the partnership with South Australian Business Chamber.

As the local chamber, we don’t always have access to the resources that a state-wide chamber like the South Australian Business Chamber has, so we work closely with them to bring their knowledge and information to our local businesses.

The Renmark Paringa Network encourages local business owners to participate in these events. It is an excellent opportunity for our friends at the South Australian Business Chamber to come out to the region. Much better to have these events here in the Riverland than travelling or attending a webinar.

Our local businesses do not have to feel like they are on their own anymore. Renmark Paringa Network and the South Australian Business Chamber have filled those gaps for the SME business owner.”

Rebecca Weatherill from Workplace Wellbeing who presented at Thursday’s seminar said It was fantastic to be able to facilitate an environment where Riverland business owners were able to share their own workplace practices that support wellbeing and mental health”

Riverfun Houseboats Kim Seymore said Today’s session inspired me to keep working to improve our business and utilise the toolkits the South Australian Business Chamber and the Renmark Paringa Network have to offer”

The South Australian Business Chamber Executive Director, David Slama says that he enjoys the positive working relationship with the regional chambers, especially the Renmark Paringa Network.

It is great to be back again in the Riverland working with the RPN team and their members . Today, we shared the latest in industrial relations requirements, including wages and contracts. Employers need to get this right so we’re pleased that we can give them the latest information and make it easier to be compliant.

Today at the Riverland Strength and Success Summit, we’ve also talked about increasing your sales using social media, and improving the wellbeing of your workplace. These are important for business owners and employers.

At the South Australian Business Chamber, we advocate strongly for our regional members and the broader regional business community. One important issue is regional payroll tax and the impact this has, particularly on businesses close to the borders like those here in the Riverland.

Being present is key to understanding local challenges and helps us determine which support tools and services are needed, here, now and in the future. That is why we came up to the Riverland and continue building our relationship with the RPN and with their local businesses.”

The South Australian Business Chamber is available to help the Riverland’s small business community to expand, generate additional income, employ more people and help the local economy thrive. Together with the Renmark Paringa Network’s local knowledge and support networks, the South Australian Business Chamber membership really puts business owners in a great position for growth.
