Tom has diverse experience in business development, entrepreneurship, industry and academic research spanning 20 years. He cofounded ventures in different disciplines, lead international strategic collaborations, contributed to and managed state and national health related projects in both remote and urban environments, managed pre/clinical trials, served on NFP boards and held advisory and soundboard roles for technology start-up companies.

Currently, Tom provides advisory services to companies seeking to apply for the government R&D tax incentive program.

Tom holds a bachelor of agricultural sciences, a PhD in health and a graduate certificate in business administration. He is also a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
