Digital eCommerce training program designed to accelerate your business in China

Tuesday, September 13th 2022

As the home of technology giants Baidu and Tencent, China has one of the world’s fastest growing digital economies and a range of eCommerce platforms.

We have seen and experienced how COVID-19 has accelerated the shift to a digital marketplace, and nowhere more quickly than China. Organisations that want to succeed in China must build new capabilities to navigate the opportunities as China’s digital landscape continues to grow, develop and evolve at a rapid pace.

This program aims to promote and strengthen the understanding and engagement between Australia and China, by helping Australian brands and SMEs that already sell in China or have China on their roadmap, to further benefit from China’s digital eCommerce opportunities. Through this program you will:

  • deepen your understanding of China’s rapidly evolving eCommerce platforms.
  • learn how to navigate and stand out in this fast-paced digital landscape.
  • build practical capability and gain expert tips to position your business for long-term success.
  • gain exclusive access in the sessions to leading digital and eCommerce experts from Alibaba, China Skinny, The Gaibo Agency, Polaris Media, RedFern Digital, RooLife Group + more.
  • undertake exclusive sessions on setting up on Alibaba, tapping into consumers trends and preferences, IP in China, engaging with key opinion leaders, working with eCommerce enablers and setting up and using WeChat.
  • have access to business matching opportunities, introductions to eCommerce enablers, and consultations with in-country experts from your local state government and Austrade for eligible brands and SMEs.

The program is valued at $4,500. Generous funding from The National Foundation for Australia-China Relations (an Australian Commonwealth Government initiative) allows the program to be delivered at no cost to the participant.

Expressions of Interest close 30 September 2022.
