The Adelaide Fringe has kicked off, and more the South Australian Business Chamber members than ever are involved. 

This weekly guide during the Adelaide Fringe is designed to highlight the South Australian Business Chamber members who are putting on shows, serving hungry and thirsty showgoers, sponsors, partners, and supporters.

The Lab


The Lab, Light ADL’s second immersive entertainment space will host 28 performances with a talent-packed program from 11 different artists or artist groups. The Lab boasts 50sqm LED screens creating an immersive atmosphere with engaging visuals created to intensify each performance that will not be replicated in other Fringe venues.

SHOW: Tinder’s Least Wanted


Adelaide comedians Sophy Nassar and Jono Makai bring together a hilarious cacophony of online dating experiences they were not really wanting to have.

It’s a show full of excerpts of the real-life brutality of online dating and examples of why having a fish in your profile photo will most certainly lead to a first date.

SHOW: Appraisal


Appraisal is a two-handed drama that follows the process of an annual staff work review gone horribly wrong. 

Jo, a senior manager, needs to appraise the head of department Nicky’s work. Nicky just wants to keep working. What follows is a powerplay of manipulation, subtext and subterfuge exploring explosive consequences arising out of a seemingly innocent conversation.

SHOW: Nina Simone – A Musical Life


After three sold-out shows in 2021 at Goodwood’s Capri Theatre, SA’s Bonnie lee Galea in her JAZZ in CHEEK Quartet returns with a mesmerising tribute to the Goddess of Piano” and High Priestess of Soul” Nina Simone.

Bonnie and her band will journey through Nina’s life and music that blended jazz, gospel, blues, folk, pop and classical.
