Yarik Turianskyi

Senior Policy Advisor

Yarik Turianskyi is a Senior Policy Adviser at the South Australian Business Chamber, South Australia’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Prior to this, he was the Deputy Programme Head of the African Governance and Diplomacy Programme at the South African Institute of International Affairs. He has over 15 years of experience in policy analysis and international development, having worked in 24 countries across five continents. He is a co-editor of a book African Accountability: What Works and What Doesn’t and a co-editor of a special issue of the South African Journal of International Affairs on ‘Digital Diplomacy in Africa’. Yarik is a PhD candidate in Journalism and Media Studies at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg.
