A grand start for networkers

Networking kicked off the year in style as guests headed down to Glenelg to enjoy the seaside location.

The Stamford Grand was host for the first networking event of the year as networkers soaked up the warm weather and talked business at the popular location.

Stamford Area General Manager, Graham Black, provided an overview of the latest attractions at the hotel and the services available to businesses.

Chris Day from OAMPS also detailed the services that his company provides and the issues for businesses to be aware of including the dangers of under insurance.

Stamford Chef Paul Brown provided a cooking demonstration and also gave very interesting account of his time as the head chef for the King of Bahrain.

A huge chocolate fondue was a very popular attraction for guests.

There was a range of fabulous door prizes given away including wine from OAMPS, a dinner voucher for La Tombola Restaurant, a voucher from Sumo Salad and food and beverage vouchers from the Stamford Grand and Stamford Plaza.

The winners of the prizes were Nadine Silverberg from Oxfam shop, Julian Robins from HC Mobile Communications, Danielle Banton from the Australian Institute, Kathy Vasic from Engraving Services, Cameron Lockett from DMAW Lawyers, Darren Leeming from Complete Personnel and Rose Vis from VIP Home Services.
