The Business SA Export Awards celebrate exporting excellence in South Australia by paying tribute to some of the most dynamic and innovative businesses in this State.
By identifying the State’s most successful exporters, these awards inspire greater involvement in exporting and recognise these outstanding businesses that call South Australia home.
Business SA has called on South Australian export businesses to apply now for the 2010 Business SA Export Awards.
The annual Business SA Export Awards is South Australia’s premier awards program devoted exclusively to recognising exporting excellence in this State.
All South Australian export businesses can apply across 12 categories, ranging from agribusiness and minerals and energy, through to education, manufacturing, information and communication technology and more.
Winners of the State awards automatically qualify as finalists in the 2010 Australian Export Awards hosted by Austrade and the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Previous South Australian winners who have won national awards include Levett Engineering - 2009 Emerging Exporter Award; Adventure Tours Australia - 2008 Sports, Events and Tourism Award; Flight Training Adelaide - 2007 Education Award; Imagination Entertainment - 2007 Arts, Entertainment and Design Award; and Rising Sun Pictures - 2006 Arts, Entertainment and Design Award.
Business SA Chief Executive Officer, Peter Vaughan, said the awards acknowledge the contribution made by exporters to the local economy and encourage others to follow in their international footsteps.
“The 2010 Business SA Export Awards celebrate exporting excellence in South Australia by paying tribute to some of the most impressive businesses in this State,” Mr Vaughan said.
“I encourage all South Australian businesses with innovative strategies and demonstrated export growth to enter the 2010 Business SA Export Awards.
“Applicants have the chance to increase their company’s profile and showcase their organisation’s exporting success.”
Award winners will be announced at a special awards lunch on 20 October 2010.
