The 2010 SALA Festival
30 July- 22 August
The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is the largest visual arts festival in Australia and it's totally free.
Business SA is pleased to again be a joint sponsor of The Advertiser Business SA Contemporary Art Prize for the most outstanding work in any medium for 2010.
Over 24 days, the public will be exposed to the diverse, colourful, thought provoking work of over 2,000 South Australian photographers, ceremicists, digital artists, sculptures, painters to name but a few.
With over 500 exhibitions reaching across the city of Adelaide to the Barossa Valley, Limestone Coast and Eyre Peninsula and beyond, SALA is a brilliant blend of local produce, local talent and living art.
In 2009 over 230,000 Official SALA Festival programs were printed and distributed with the assistance of the Advertiser Newspapers. Over 400 articles were written across metropolitan, regional and international publications, raising awareness for the arts and businesses partnerships.
SALA Festival supports South Australians and encourages audiences and artists to engage with their communities.
