For more than thirty years, Project Green Group owners Craig and Deb Hosking have had a strong passion for the environment and creating a better future for our planet.

At the establishment of their first business in 1993, Austral Tree Services provided tree maintenance and stump removal services to domestic and commercial clients across Adelaide.

Today, their business model is vastly different.

Project Green Group has evolved to be a unique, full-service arboriculture collective offering, incorporating four interdependent entities carrying the highest level of quality, safety, and environmental accreditation.

PGG collaborates with like-minded tech companies, working together using Software as a Service (SaaS) to tackle climate change through the proprietary green asset management platform EDEN4, collecting, collating, and reporting on green assets for businesses with pinpoint accuracy.

In November 2022 Project Green Group had the honour of showcasing their software on the global mega stage at COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Egypt.

Co-founder Deb Hosking said, COP27 opened a pipeline of interest from climate ambassadors around the world who want to work with Project Green Group to deliver solutions to the global climate action agenda.”

Project Green Groups’ presence at the global conference strengthened South Australia’s profile as a climate leader.

Wood for Good, PGG’s youngest venture is a social enterprise established in 2013 that re-purposes and recycles timber, creating firewood products that are good for people and the environment.

In November 2022 it joined the B‑Corp Community following a rigorous certification process, demonstrating its high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency from employee benefits and charitable giving, to supply chain practices and input materials.

Stephen Schmid, Innovation Specialist from Delivery Partner the South Australian Business Chamber was delighted to be working with the PGG team, as they build a fit-for-purpose Innovation Management System supporting the company to realise the Return on Innovation Investment that PGG and South Australia deserve.
