The Pharmaceutical Industry Award 2020 applies to employers throughout Australia in the pharmaceutical industry and their employees in the classifications in this Award to the exclusion of any other Modern Award.
“Pharmaceutical industry” means the manufacture and production of prescription pharmaceuticals or of both prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals; or the wholesaling of prescription pharmaceuticals or of both prescription and non prescription pharmaceuticals; or processes and activities that are incidental or ancillary to the manufacture and production of prescription pharmaceuticals or of both prescription and non-prescription pharmaceuticals.
