Kathryn is a qualified lawyer and has over 10 years’ experience providing advice to employers on employment and industrial relations. Kathryn specialises in providing advice to employers on managing their legal obligations and risks as well as helping employers navigate the complex world that is employment relations and workers compensation.
Kathryn regularly represents employers in the Fair Work Commission, the South Australian Employment Tribunal and the Equal Opportunity Commission. Kathryn has acted for many employers ranging from small, medium to large, across a diverse range of industries. She has represented employers in complex unfair dismissal, general protections claims, underpayment claims, difficult workers compensation claims and discrimination claims.
Kathryn is experienced in conducting investigations for clients in relations to bullying and harassment matters and sexual harassment matters, she also regularly advises clients on complex industrial issues such as managing illness and injury in the workplace, performance management and disciplinary issues.
Kathryn is skilled in legal interpretation and is able to interpret the complicated nature of employment legislation and Modern Awards. Her aim is to provide practical and cost effective outcomes for employers in an empathetic manner.
