WHAT IS IT? 
Building on Year 1, your HSR will learn to further their application of risk assessment and proactive planning for a safer workplace. Your HSR will be able to employ tactical strategy based on a tried-and-tested systematic approach to managing WHS risk.

This is the course for ensuring health and safety practices are at the forefront of  decision making and that current knowledge informs those decisions. - expect immersive, in-depth learning and an assurance that your elected HSR is armed with the knowledge of how to avert workplace crises before they arise.

  • Understand the principles and practices of a systematic approach to managing and controlling multiple WHS risks
  • Understand the responsibilities and duties of PCBUs, officers, supervisors and contractors in the context of multiple PCBUs, hazard risks and shared duties
  • Identify various elements of due diligence requirements of PCBUs and officers associated with managing specific and multiple hazards in a shared work environment
  • Participate in and contribute to developing an action plan for eliminating or controlling and monitoring specific and multiple hazards and risks in a shared work environment.
